Try a new art form. Share your own.
We bring families, kids, students and artists together to learn dance, music and traditions from the people who carry them.
Our mission

How we work
Four things we never skip.
All levels welcome
"No experience needed" is a promise. Every class keeps it.
Culture bearers lead
Artists from the tradition teach it and tell it. We credit them by name.
Learn by doing
We'd rather you try the step than read about it.
Bring the family
Parents and kids learn side by side. That's where community starts.
Who comes to DEN
Four people, one room.
Families
Want something real to do together on a weekend.
Kids
Want to move, make noise and show off what they learned.
Arts students
Want technique, history and teachers who carry the tradition.
Curious artists
Want new forms to learn from, and people to make with.
